Her academic background is in literature and journalism — an unusual starting point in this industry, and one that shapes how she works. Her career began in banking, spanning sixteen years across China and Canada in roles from personal finance through senior management. That experience gave her a working knowledge of how financial institutions actually operate, and where their limits lie.

In 2021 she founded IRISKY WEALTH, moving from inside the system to the client's side of the table — no longer bound to a single institution's product line, but free to build what each family actually needs.
